COVID-19 vaccine

MC Medical & Dental clinic in Docklands is pleased to advise that we are an approved vaccination provider for the COVID-19 vaccines. We are happy to help provide COVID-19  immunisation for our local area and the wider community. 

MC Medical & Dental is taking phone bookings only for the COVID-19 vaccine.  Please read the information regarding the rollout process and check your eligibility for the COVID-19 vaccine before booking your appointments over the phone. Flu vaccinations

Telehealth video consultations

Available for all medical patients. If you’re a Medicare cardholder, you will now be eligible for a rebate. Bulk billing is available for some patients. Please speak to one of our friendly reception staff or visit the FAQ’s page for more information.

What is new in dental

All dental treatments have resumed at MC Medical and Dental. 

The team at MC Medical and Dental will continue to attend to urgent dental care and dental emergencies during COVID-19.

It is essential that you do not neglect your oral health. If dental concerns are left untreated, the situation may get worse.

COVID Safe practices are in place to ensure your health and safety. Over the coming weeks and months, our dentists will get busier. We recommend that you book in early, so you are not disappointed.

If you have ANY of these symptoms:

Please advise us if you have any COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, gastrointestinal symptoms, AND if you have travelled overseas in the last few weeks. Also, please let us know if you have tested positive to COVID-19, or have had close contact with someone diagnosed with, or suspected of having Coronavirus. Please do not visit the clinic. Instead, call the dedicated hotline on 1800-675-398.

Unfortunately, as we are a small clinic, we are UNABLE TO OFFER COVID-19 TESTING.

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has issued recommendations on reducing the risk of COVID-19. To reduce contracting and spreading Coronavirus, wash your hands thoroughly and sneeze into the sleeve or elbow.

Our staff are highly trained in infection control and are taking extra measures to ensure the safety of patients and staff.

Common emergencies include:

Lost filling
A broken or fractured tooth
A loose tooth
A missing tooth
Tooth abscess
Gum abscess
Impacted wisdom teeth
Braces or retainers that are irritating
Knocked out tooth
Injury to the jaw
Bitten tongue or lip where bleeding doesn’t stop
Objects wedged between the teeth
